The Characteristic Design of Krugerrand

Designed by Otto Schultz, bears the face of Boer statesman Paul Kruger, four-term president of the old South African Republic. The reverse depicts a springbok, the national animal of South Africa.

2020 Krugerrand Silver Bullion

The South African Mint released a silver version of the coin for collectors for celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2017. The issue was so popular that it was followed by a bullion release in 2018. Due to its popularity in 2018, the young series enters its 3rd year. With this 2020 version, this coin was struck on a 1 oz planchet of .999 fine silver. It will arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

2020 Krugerrand Silver Proof

For the first time in 2020, The South African Mint presents a new addition to the acclaimed Kruggerand series.

Struck in .999 fine silver, the 2oz Silver Proof Krugerrand makes its debut with a limited mintage o f 10,000.

This is the fourth year release for the 1oz Silver Proof Krugerrand and the coin will be capped at a mintage of 20,000.

2020 Krugerrand Gold Proof

Struck for the first time on 3 July 1967, with the aim of marketing South African gold, this legend in the coin industry was conceived when the concept of a legal tender gold coin linked to the daily gold price was introduced in South Africa.

The 1oz Gold Proof Krugerrand is limited mintage with no more than 1,000 coins worldwide.

The 2oz Gold Proof Krugerrand is limited to a mintage of 400.
